City of Centerville <br />City Council Work Session & Meeting Minutes <br />September 28, 2022 <br /> <br />c. King - <br /> Economic Development Authority – No report was given due to absence. <br /> Fire Steering Committee – No report was given due to absence. It was reported that <br />the meeting would take place on October 20, 2022. <br /> <br />d. Mosher - <br /> Economic Development Authority – No report was given. <br /> Police Governing Board – No report was given. <br /> <br />e. Love – Mayor Love stated that he had been invited to a neighborhood Chili Tasting Contest and <br />nd <br />that he look forward to attend. He also stated that he had also been invited to speak to 2 Graders <br />at Centerville Elementary and the Varsity Football Team in the next month. <br /> <br /> North Metro Telecommunications Commission – Mayor Love reported that the North <br />Metro TV fall sports schedule was full, YouTube watches have been approximately <br />14,000, elections and candidate interviews were being completed, there was a new <br />reporter added to staff replacing Rusty Ray who accepted a job with WCCO. He stated <br />that Mr. Eric Nelson is his replacement and comes with an extensive background. He also <br />stated that as of October 4, 2022 closed captioning would be streaming on all channels <br />produced by them. He also stated that a Metro-Wide study had recently been completed <br />which show that the salaries at NMTV were low versus exempt and non-exempt <br />employees. He reported that the 2021 Audit had been approved at the previous evening’s <br />meeting. <br /> Police Governing Board – No report was given. <br /> Other Mayoral Reports - No report was given. <br /> <br />XI.
