City of Centerville <br />EDA Meeting Minutes <br /> October 19, 2022 <br /> <br />1. Bills <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the checks as presented in the packet. <br /> <br />a. Check List <br />Motion by Commissioner King and seconded by Commissioner Swenson to approve the <br />check list as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. Communications <br /> <br />a. Business Appreciation Event <br />Executive Director Lewis provided an overview of the business appreciation event that occurred <br />on Tuesday, October 4. There were two speakers, a meal provided by Wiseguys, and available <br />resources. Discussion ensued about next yearÓs event and board members agreed that they need to <br />consider the time of the event due to lighting needs and event participation. <br /> <br />b. Volunteer Appreciation Event <br /> <br />Executive Director Lewis provided an overview of the volunteer appreciation event as presented <br />in the packet. <br /> <br />c. Trunk or Treat <br /> <br />Executive Director Lewis provided an overview of the Trunk or Treat event as presented in the <br />packet, and encouraged businesses and EDA members to attend the event. <br /> <br />VII. Partner Agency Reports <br />a.Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the report as presented in the packet. <br />2. b. Year to Date Financials <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the financial report as presented in the packet. <br /> <br />1. c. Ongoing Programs: <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the Ongoing Programs report as presented in the packet. <br />Discussion ensued about who is enrolled in the Blue Logo program. Executive director Lewis will <br />provide this information at the next meeting. <br /> <br />2. d.
