THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION #EDA 22- 001 <br />RESOLUTION SELECTING OFFICERS for 2022 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Bylaws of the Economic Development Authority of the City of <br />Centerville, officers shall be appointed annually. <br />WHEREAS, on July 20, 2022, the EDA appointed it's 2022 Officers. <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hanzal has expressed interest in continuing to serve in his respective role in 2022, <br />and, <br />WHEREAS Mr. Weatherhead will complete his term expiring on July 30, 2022 and, therefore, his <br />position as the Vice -President, leaving an opening in this role, and <br />WHEREAS, the bylaws of the EDA allow for any of the board members to be the Treasurer, even if <br />that board member holds the position of President or Vice President, and <br />WHEREAS, the bylaws of the EDA state that the positions of Assistant Treasurer and Secretary <br />need not be members of the board, and <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate for the Executive Director to be a member of the city staff. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND KNOWN TO ALL, that the Board of <br />Commissioners, names its Officers as follows: <br />President <br />Vice -President: <br />Treasurer: <br />Assistant Treasurer: <br />Secretary: <br />Executive Director: <br />THE VOTE OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR ADOPTION OF THIS <br />RESOLTUION WAS IN FAVOR OF THE RESOLUTION. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Economic Developmen ;A thoriz of the Ci -.of Centerville this <br />20th day of July, 2022. <br />' Je ' Hanzal, President <br />Attest: <br />SZ*etary, <br />
