City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />July 19, 2022 <br /> <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kuiper, seconded by Commissioner Twohy to recommend <br />adoption of the attached ordinance related to Residential Outside Storage to City <br />Council. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. Centra Homes – Sorel Quarter – Materials Change Review <br />Administrator Statz reported that the developer received their bid numbers back for materials and <br />prices are up 30%. They have asked for this item to be item to be tabled until they decide where to <br />go from here. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Twohy to table the <br />Centra Homes – Sorel Quarter Materials Change Review. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Cannabis Law Change – Ordinance Review <br />Administrator Statz introduced the item, referencing the information that the League of Minnesota <br />Cities (LMC) provided about the new law. Discussion ensued about how to proceed and staff will <br />discuss further with city council. <br /> <br />2. Accepting Resignation of Commissioners <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Twohy, seconded by Commissioner Broussard-Vickers to <br />accept the resignations of Commissioner Twohy, contingent upon receipt of his written <br />resignation, and Commissioner Broussard-Vickers. All others in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. Recommending Appointment of Commissioners <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kuiper, seconded by Commissioner Nelson to recommend <br />appointment of commissioners of Gloria Semmelink and Bruce Thompson. All others <br />in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />1. April 5, 2022 Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Twohy, seconded by Commissioner Kuiper to approve the <br />Planning & Zoning Commission meeting minutes of April 5, 2022 subject to <br />Commissioner Twhoy’s attendance being added to the minutes. All others in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. May 3, 2022 Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kuiper, seconded by Commissioner Twohy to approve the <br />Planning & Zoning Commission meeting minutes of May 3, 2022 subject to <br />Commissioner Twohy’s attendance being added to the minutes.
