These permits shall be issued through a self- <br />service permit system or other such administrative process. The maximum length of a <br />permit(s) is 14 days, in aggregate, during any given year, per parcel. The permit shall be <br />conspicuously displayed at all times. <br />2.3.Other Temporary Dwellings - Applications for temporary dwellings shall be made in writing <br />Formatted: Indent: Left: 1.02", Hanging: 0.25" <br />to the Administrator and it shall be the Administrator's duty to submit the application to the <br />City Council at the next regular meeting thereof. The City Council in its discretion shall <br />grant or deny the permit and may require, as a condition to the granting of the permit or any <br />renewal permit, that the applicant appear in person before the City Council and be examined <br />as to his or her plans for a permanent dwelling and other matters relative thereto. Permits <br />shall in no event be granted for a period in excess of 90 days. At the expiration of the 90-day <br />period, the owner or occupant of any trailer so placed upon the premises in accord with this <br />section shall immediately remove the same, unless prior to the expiration of the 90-day <br />period, the owner or occupant shall obtain from the City Council a renewal permit. <br />Application therefore may be made to the Administrator as in the case of original permits, <br />and must be submitted to the City Council prior to the expiration of the original 90-day <br />period. One renewal permit may be granted upon good cause shown, but in no event shall a <br />renewal permit be granted for a period in excess of 90 days and not more than one renewal <br />permit shall be granted. <br />(C)No money may be exchanged for the use of a property in association with a temporary dwelling. <br />Formatted: Indent: Left: 0.57", No bullets or <br />numbering <br />(B)(D)Temporary structures and trailers used in conjunction with construction work shall be <br />permitted only during the period that the construction work is in progress. Permits for temporary <br />structures shall be issued for a period not exceeding six months. <br />(C)(E) Pursuant to authority granted by Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.3593, subdivision 9, the <br />City of Centerville opts-out of the requirements of Minn. Stat. § 462.3593, which defines and <br />regulates Temporary Family Health Care Dwellings. <br /> <br />
