Pwfswjfx! <br />Soliciting public input was a major component of the Golden Valley City Council’sconsideration ofTHC <br />Licensing and Zoning. <br />Staff solicited input from the community through an in-person open house and online surveyregarding: <br />THC sales <br />THC regulation <br />Open House <br />The City held an open house at Brookview Wed, July 27, 6–8 pm, to gathercommunity input <br />regarding sales of edible THC.Approximately 10 community members attended the event where <br />vendors and community resources set up booths for residents to interact and learn more.A large <br />group discussion was also held where experts presented their opinions and perspectives about <br />what cities should do, what retailers and consumers should know moving forward, and where they <br />would like to see the industrygoing. <br />Online Survey <br />The survey was active from July 27–Aug 10, 2022,was limited to oneresponse per IP address, and <br />had293 responses. <br />See survey responses starting on page 3. <br />See Appendix Afor paper survey submissions. <br />Social Media Outreach <br />The City posted information and reminders about theopen house and survey twotimes on Facebook, <br />Twitter, and NextDoor between July 22, 2022and Aug 4, 2022. <br />See Appendix B for reach and engagement details for each post. <br />Page2 <br />THC Licensing & ZoningCommunity Input Report <br /> <br />
