CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />January 25, 2023 <br />Administration <br />IX.1 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Appointment of Candidate to Fill Open City Council Seat <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />Upon the resignation of City Council Member Michelle Lakso, the Council declared a vacancy and accepted <br />applications for the open position. Two applications were received and those two candidates were interviewed <br />in a work session before this meeting. If the Council is satisfied with the pool of candidates and is ready to <br />make an appointment, they may do so now.
