THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION #EDA 23- 002 <br />RESOLUTION SELECTING OFFICERS for 2023 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Bylaws of the Economic Development Authority of the City of <br />Centerville, officers shall be appointed annually. <br />WHEREAS, on January 18, 2022, the EDA appointed it's 2023 Officers. <br />1. WHEREAS, the President, the Vice -President and the Treasurer shall be members of the <br />Board and shall be elected annually, and <br />2. WHEREAS, the bylaws of the EDA allow for any of the board members to be the Treasurer, <br />even if that board member holds the position of President or Vice President, and <br />3. WHEREAS, the bylaws of the EDA state that the positions of Assistant Treasurer and <br />Secretary need not be members of the board, and <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate for the Executive Director to be a member of the city staff. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND KNOWN TO ALL, that the Board of <br />Commissioners, names its Officers as follows: <br />President: Mark Remillard <br />Vice -President: Chris Swenson <br />Treasurer: Tony Smith <br />Assistant Treasurer: Bruce DeJong <br />Secretary: Athanasia Lewis <br />Executive Director: Athanasia Lewis <br />THE VOTE OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR ADOPTION OF THIS <br />RESOLTUION WAS IN FAVOR OF THE RESOLUTION. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Economic Development Authority of the City of Centerville, <br />this 18th day of January, 2023. _ <br />Mark Remillard, President <br />Attest: / -- - - - - <br />`Atlianasia Lewis, Secretary <br />
