Look for it in your Google Play Store and Apple Store <br />links. <br />VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES <br />Open Board Positions <br />Please call city hall at 651-429-3232 with any questions you may have regarding the <br />following openings. If you are interested in applying scan the QR Code to the right or <br />visit the City’s web site for an application under News and Announcements. <br />City Council – Open Seat <br />o Meets twice a month on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 6:30 <br />p.m., in chambers <br />Parks & Recreation Committee – Open Seat <br />o Meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., in chambers <br />Planning & Zoning Commission – Open Seat <br />o Meets monthly on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., in chambers <br />PARKS AND RECREATION <br />Second Annual Skate/Sled Nights <br />The Committee will hold their second Skate/Sled Nights on Friday, February <br />10, 2023. Free use of Wargo Nature Center’s snowshoes, kick-sleds and fat tire <br />bikes. The City appreciates Wargo for co-sponsoring the event and providing <br />the above items. The event will again be held at Laurie LaMotte Memorial <br />Park. The Committee will provide free popcorn, s’mores, a bonfire, hot cocoa <br />and prizes for lucky individuals. Please invite a neighbor, parent, friend, etc. to <br />attend with you. <br />Meeting and City Hall Schedule <br />February 7, 2023, 6:30 p.m. – Planning & Zoning Commission <br />February 15, 2023, 6:30 p.m. – Economic Development Authority <br />February 20, 2023 – City Hall Closed in observance of Presidents Day <br />February 22, 2023, 6:30 p.m. – City Council (Work Session 5 p.m.) <br />March 1, 2023, 6:30 p.m. – Parks & Recreation Committee <br />March 14*, 2023, 6:30 p.m. – Planning & Zoning Commission (*note revised date) <br />PLANNING & ZONING <br />Temporary Dwellings and Structures <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission discussed Temporary Dwellings and Structures at their meeting on <br />January 17, 2022. This ordinance deals with the occupancy of things like RV’s and tents. The city’s current <br />ordinance does not allow occupancy of these, for any length of time.
