Main Street Market <br />Main Street Market 2023 Rules & Regulations along with the 2023 Vendor <br />Registrations were emailed to last years’ vendors, this week, providing them with a <br />one-week advance registration period prior to marketing/solicitation for <br />crafters/artisans and food truck vendors that may be new to the event. These forms <br />will be available on the City’s website shortly. We have received 5 registrations for <br />participation in all events to date. The dates for the events are scheduled for <br />Thursdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm, July 6, through August 10, 2023 <br />Themed evenings will be: <br />July 13 – Fete des Lacs <br />July 20 – Ladies Night <br />August 3 – Kids Night <br />August 10 – Pet Night <br />Mark those calendars and check out the Main Street Market Facebook page at: <br />www.facebook.com/CentervilleMainStreetMarket/ or the QR Code above for more information as planning <br />continues. <br />Meeting and City Hall Schedule <br />February 20, 2023 – City Hall Closed in observance of Presidents Day <br />March 1, 2023, 6:30 p.m. – Parks & Recreation Committee <br />March 8, 2023, 6:30 p.m. – City Council <br />March 14*, 2023, 6:30 p.m. – Planning & Zoning Commission (*note revised date) <br />March 15 15, 2023, 6:30 p.m. – Economic Development Authority <br />PLANNING & ZONING <br />Temporary Dwellings and Structures <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission discussed Temporary Dwellings and Structures at their meeting on <br />January 17, 2022. This ordinance deals with the occupancy of things like RV’s and tents. The city’s current <br />ordinance does not allow occupancy of these, for any length of time. The commission is considering: <br />For RVs <br />Stay up to 14 days/year/parcel w/no winter stays <br />No exchange of money allowed <br />Must have principal structure on lot <br />Must be parked in driveway <br />Self-service permit required <br />For Tents <br />Limited stays <br />No permits necessary <br />A public hearing will be held on March 14 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, or you may submit comments at <br />info@centervillemn.com <br />THC Regulations <br />Centerville, along with many cities across the state, issued a moratorium on the sale of THC products after <br />the state legalized edibles in July of 2022, with few restrictions. Those included: <br />21+ to purchase; no marketing to children <br />Max 5 mg/serving, max 50 mg/package <br /> <br />
