CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />C�rjnteryi(fe <br />Establisfied1,957 <br />Agenda Item # <br />Department: <br />Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />VIL4 <br />Administration/Public Works <br />March 8, 2022 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Ice Rink Attendant Pay <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />When non -union and part-time worker pay was set, for 2023, city staff recommended that the ice rink attendant <br />pay remain at $12/hr, despite increases to all other job categories, due to the nature of the work requirements. <br />However, we were remiss in acknowledging the value-added for employees returning to this seasonal work for <br />a second year. <br />Staff is seeking a revision to the non -union and part-time worker pay schedule to add a pay category for ice rink <br />workers returning with at least one year of experience.
