PARKS AND RECREATION <br />Music in the Park Pre-Planning <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson is diligently working to secure performers/bands <br />for this yearsÓ Music in the Park Series. The performances will take place Tuesday <br />evenings commencing June 13-27, July 11-25 & August 8-15, 2023 at 6:30pm-8pm at <br />Hidden Spring Park. Picnic tables will be on site for first-come, first served use. Check <br />out the Facebook page at:www.facebook.com/CentervilleMusicInThePark or the QR <br />Code to the right for current information. <br />Main Street Market <br />The Main Street Market & Water Ski Show is being planned. We are actively looking <br />for artisans, farmers, cottage food and prepared food vendors. Applications, Rules <br />and Regulations, and payment information is on the cityÓs website. Vendors must <br />participate in at least two (2) events to be considered. We currently have 10 vendors <br />registered with eight (8) of them returning from 2022. The Committee will meet at City Hall at 9 a.m. and is requesting volunteer assistance from the public. <br />Eagle Park needs additional cleanup activities associated with the removal of several trees in 2022. Volunteers <br />are needed and a signup sheet will be available on the cityÓs web site shortly. <br />Statewide Health Improvement Partnership Grant Submissions <br />The Committee has submitted two (2) Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) grants to Anoka <br />County for the installation of a free-standing Bike Repair Stand to be installed near the trail that runs along <br />the west side of Laurie LaMotte Park near the parking lot and two (2) free-standing outdoor bottle filler <br />w/drinking fountain & pet station water fountains.
