Motion by Commissioner Mosher and seconded by Commissioner Smith to approve the check list as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. 2. Scooters Coffee Executive Director Lewis reviewed this item as presented in the packet. d. Downtown Redevelopment Market Study Executive Director Lewis reviewed this item as presented in the packet. VI. PRESENTATION 1. EDA Overview by Administrator Statz Administrator Statz provided an overview of the EDA, its formation, early programs and budgets. Discussion ensued about the impact the pandemic had on the EDA regarding businesses incentives to support businesses that were closed to the public. Discussion ensued about upcoming budgets, the budgeting process, and adoption of fiscal policies to guide EDA operating and capital expenditures. Discussion also ensued about the changes in development over the past several years, noting primarily that there has been an increase in the last couple of years. VII. REPORTS 1. Partner Agency Reports a. Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) Executive Director Lewis reviewed the report as presented in the packet. 2. Year to Date Financials Executive Director Lewis introduced the financial report as presented in the packet and Finance Director Bruce DeJong talked about amending the budget to reflect the $20,500 for the downtown redevelopment market study in this yearÓs budget.
