CITY OF CENTERVILLEREQUEST FOR ACTION Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: March 14, 2023 Planning/Legal VI.2 TITLE OF ISSUE: Proposed Amendments to City Code, Chapter 71: Parking Regulations BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: Earlier on the agenda, the Planning and Zoning Commission took public comment on City Code, Chapter 71- Parking Regulations. The Commission was not proposing any changes to city code, but wished to take input from the public on the entirety of the ordinance, to gauge if there were issues that the public would like to see addressed. Further background information on the topic is presented in the attached documents. Additionally, the Commission reviewed existing "no parking" areas in the city and proposed some new ones. COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: No direct cost to the city. REQUESTED ACTION: If there are proposed amendments to City Code: Motion to recommend approval of the proposed amendments to Chapter 71 of the City Code, inlcuding______________________.
