City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 22, 2023 <br />stated that they are in the midst of a pay study which will assist in retaining staff. He stated that <br />two (2) staff members were retiring shortly. Council Member Koski reported that the <br />Commission has hired an accounting firm to complete their annual audit and that the City would <br />be receiving $7,170.94 in franchise fees for 2022 shortly. <br /> Planning & Zoning Commission – Council Member Koski stated that the Commission <br />th <br />would meet on the 14 of March. <br /> Fire Steering Committee – Council Member Koski stated that the next meeting was <br />scheduled for April 20, 2023. <br /> <br />c. King - <br /> Economic Development Authority – Council Member King deferred to Council <br />Member Mosher for reporting. <br /> Fire Steering Committee – Council Member King stated that the next meeting was <br />scheduled for April 20, 2023. <br /> Parks & Recreation Committee – Council Member King stated that the next meeting <br />was scheduled for March 1, 2023. <br /> Fire Protection Council – Council Member King stated that the next meeting was <br />scheduled for April 27, 2023 <br /> <br />d. Mosher – <br /> Economic Development Authority – Council Member Mosher stated that two new <br />members were sworn in, and their goals and standard procedures were reviewed. He <br />reported that Finance Director DeJong discussed their budget with the committee. He <br />reminded the audience to participate in the Downtown Survey either from the website or <br />the app. He reported that Assistant City Administrator Lewis is completing an Annual <br />Plan for presentation to Council showing their accomplishments and goals so that they <br />could be incorporated with Council’s goals. <br /> Police Governing Board – Council Member Mosher stated that the next meeting was <br />scheduled for May 8, 2023. <br /> <br />e. Love – <br /> <br /> North Metro Telecommunications Commission – Mayor Love stated provided no <br />report. <br /> Police Governing Board – Mayor Love provided no report. <br /> Other Mayoral Reports - Mayor Love provided no other reports. <br /> <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member King to Adjourn the Regularly <br />Scheduled Council Meeting of February 22, 2023 at 6:56 p.m. Roll call: Mayor Love, Council <br />Members King, Koski and Mosher in favor.
