Exterior lighting, including <br />both on-building lights and parking lot lights have been completed and are now on during the night. <br /> <br />Submittal of the modeling data and application for changes to the Floodway have now been submitted to <br />FEMA. The <br />program offers half-priced hook-up charges for businesses hooking to city water. <br /> <br />th <br />20 Avenue (CSAH 54) Corridor Study <br />The latest progress meeting for the Corridor Study was held on February 13. Stakeholders were shown <br />concept maps, laying out potential intersection treatments, access modifications, street cross sections, speed <br />limits, and pedestrian routes. <br /> <br />Next, the team will be reaching out to key area land and business owners along the corridor to gain their <br />perspectives on various alternatives. Following those meetings, the concept layouts will be adjusted and <br />readied for a broader public input phase. <br /> <br />st <br />The study is examining 20th Avenue from Birch Street to 80th Avenue, and the intersection of 21 Ave. and <br />Main Street, aimed at identifying improvements needed in the short and long-term to accommodate regional <br />growth. <br /> <br />Wellhead Protection Plan <br />The Minnesota Department of Health held a kick-off meeting with city staff and consultants for the <br />implementation of the cityÓs Part-2 Wellhead Protection Plan. The group reviewed items in the documents <br />and the timelines associated with various activities. Staff will be following up on the action items over the <br />course of the next few months. <br /> <br />City staff recently completed final paperwork and receive reimbursement from the Department of Health <br />associated with a grand for sealing of a well in the downtown at no cost to the city or resident.
