City of Centerville <br />EDA Meeting Minutes <br /> May 17, 2023 <br />V. BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br />1.Bills <br />a.Check List <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the list of checks. <br />Motion by Commissioner King and seconded by Commissioner Mosher to approve the check <br />list as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />2.Communications <br />None <br />VI. PRESENTATION <br />None <br />VII. REPORTS <br />1. Partner Agency Reports <br />a.Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the report as presented in the packet. <br />2. Year to Date Financials <br />Executive Director Lewis introduced the financial report as presented in the packet. <br />Motion by Commissioner Smith and seconded by Commissioner Swenson to approve the <br />financial statement as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />3. Ongoing Programs: <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the Ongoing Programs report as presented in the packet. <br />4. Administrator’s Report <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the Administrator’s Report as presented in the packet. <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br />1.Downtown Redevelopment Market Study <br />Executive Director Lewis introduced this item and provided a summary of the presentation that <br />was given to City Council, noting that feedback the EDA provided at their April meeting has been <br />included in the final downtown redevelopment market study. Discussion ensued about the final <br />report – points of interest include benefits of the report and prioritizing goals for the <br />recommendations outlined in the report. <br />Motion by Commissioner Swenson, seconded by Commissioner King to approve the <br />redevelopment market study as presented in the packet.
