<br />AdministratorÓs Report <br /> <br /> <br />June 28, 2023 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Centerville receives ÐCity of <br />Excellence AwardÑ from LMC <br />for Junior Council Member <br />Program. <br /> <br />The Junior Council Member <br />program allows a high school <br />student to be an active, participating <br />member of the city council for one <br />year. Junior Council Members <br />attend and participate in meetings, <br />work sessions, and called meetings, <br />along with the other council <br />members. <br /> <br />City Council launched the Junior <br />Council Member program two years <br />ago to engage Centerville youth, and they have found the program to be invaluable for gaining insight into <br />what matters to the cityÓs future leaders. <br /> <br />Click here to watch the video that was shown at the LMC Awards Ceremony on June 22, 2023.
