CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />July 19, 2023 <br />Administration/EDA <br />XI.2 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Anoka County Grants for Pre-development Activities <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />Anoka County confirmed that funding is still available for projects that prepare sites for development. The city <br />was awarded two grants during the last round. One grant was for environmental phase I and geo-technical <br />studies for 1737 Main Street and Block 7. The other grant was for a hotel study on the site north of NorBella. <br />Each grant is up to $15,000 and municipalities can submit 2 applications. See the attached guidelines for <br />eligible activities. <br />Staff's list of potential applications: 1.
