CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 14, 2023 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled City Council <br />Meeting on June 14, 2023, in Council Chambers and the meeting was live streamed by North Metro TV <br />at 6:30 p.m. <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />I. CALL TO ORDER Not Approved <br />1. Roll Call <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Love called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />PRESENT: Mayor D. Love <br />Council Member Steve King <br />Council Member Darrin Mosher <br />Council Member Raye Taylor <br />Junior Council Member Rowan Shaw (Non -Voting) <br />ABSENT: Council Member Russ Koski <br />City Administrator, Mark Statz <br />City Attorney, Kurt Glaser <br />STAFF: Assistant City Administrator, Athanasia Lewis <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. <br />Motion by Council Member Taylor, seconded by Council Member King to Approve the Agenda as <br />Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV. APPEARANCES/PRESENTATIONS <br />1. Legislative Visit — State Senator Heather Gustafson <br />State Senator Heather Gustafson thanked council for inviting her to the council meeting. She provided <br />some background information about herself and stated that she was a teacher at Centennial High School <br />for five and a half years, as well as a mom of four. Senator Gustafson reviewed programs affecting <br />Centerville, including a $2 million increase in statewide education funding for programs that support <br />student mental health & school meals for kids. <br />
