City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 14, 2023 <br />Motion by Council Member Taylor, seconded by Council Member King, to approve the Juneteenth <br />Holiday and evaluate the 2024 holiday schedule during the budget process. All in Favor. Motion <br />carried. <br />4. Variance for Reconstruction of a Shed at 1746 Dupre Road <br />Assistant City Administrator Lewis stated that we have a resident requesting a variance for reconstruction <br />for a shed at 1746 Dupre Road. A variance is needed because the new shed is 2 feet longer and 2 feet <br />wider than existing shed. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the variance <br />with the findings that are outlined in the council packet. <br />Discussion ensued about the shed and the need for a variance. <br />Motion by Council Member Mosher, seconded by Council Member Kind, to approve the Variance <br />for Reconstruction of the Shed at 1746 Dupre Road. All in Favor. Motion carried. <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Administrator/Engineer Report — Assistant City Administrator Lewis reviewed the <br />Administrator's Report as presented, noting that Music in the Park started yesterday. Council <br />Member Mosher suggested that the signs that are being put up should be placed by the walking <br />paths instead of Main Street for ease of reading. Council Member Mosher also asked if a calendar <br />can be printed up for events. <br />Assistant City Administrator Lewis stated that she is still collecting items for the swag bag give <br />aways for the festival and if any businesses are interested in dropping off items (coupons, chip <br />clips, adverting, etc.), please drop them off at City Hall. <br />Council Reports <br />Taylor —. <br />■ Parks & Recreation —No report given. <br />b.
