<br /> City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 27, 2022 <br /> <br />need to be made. A brief discussion ensued as to how much longer assessments will be coming in <br />funds 348, 349, 352 and 351, transferring of funds and when funds can be used for other funds or <br />levy reduction. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve Res. <br />#22-0XX Assigning Special Assessments to Fund 353 as Presented. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />2. Development Security Reduction Request – Rehbein Commercial <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that there are two (2) requests for security reduction by Rehbein. One <br />being for Rehbein Commercial and the other being Rehbein Industrial. He stated that the letter of <br />credit is only for the public infrastructure portion of the project. They have submitted <br />documentation that shows they have paid their contractors and subcontractors and also have lien <br />waivers, so the valuation of what has been completed is being requested to be subtracted from their <br />Letter of Credit. Administrator Statz stated that they still have some punch list items to complete. <br />He stated that staff recommends the reduction in their Letter of Credit to an amount remaining of <br />$60,000 until all items are completed. It is believe that the next request will be to completely <br />remove the security. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to approve the <br />Development Security Reduction Request for Rehbein Commercial to $60,000 as Presented. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. Development Security Reduction Request – Rehbein Industrial <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that this item as similar to the other request with the project extending <br />st <br />Fairview Street all the way to 21 Avenue. With this development the developer extended the water <br />main, built a little bit more roadway, and removed the temporary cul de sac. He stated that the <br />project was substantial complete, except for the wear course (final coat of asphalt). He stated that <br />staff was recommending a reduction to $100,000. Administrator Statz stated that the project was <br />going very well and would be completed in the time frame required. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Mosher to approve the <br />Development Security Reduction Request for Rehbein Industrial to $100,000 as Presented. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />1. Administrator/Engineer Report <br /> <br />Administrator Statz reported that he did not get the Administrator’s Report out, in fact, he had just <br />finished it up before the meeting. The items that were discussed as are follows: Medallion winners, <br />unclaimed prize, summer events winding down (Music in the Park and Main Street Market), and <br />The Mayor’s Minutes. <br /> <br />Page 6 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
