The City of Circle Pines is located 15 miles north of <br />Minneapolis and boarders the Cities of Blaine, Lino <br />Lakes, Shoreview, and Lexington. Circle Pines is a <br />predominately residential community of nearly 5,000 <br />people. The 2 square miles of land area is fully <br />developed. Lake Drive is a major thoroughfare <br />through the City providing direct access to area <br />freeways. <br />Circle Pines is the only suburban city that operates its <br />own natural gas distribution company a result of its <br />cooperative history. The system serves all of Circle <br />Pines and portions of the Cities of Blaine and Lino <br />Lakes. Circle Pines also provides its own water and <br />sewer utilities to its residents. <br />Circle Pines is a great place to live, raise a family, do business, or just visit. In 2011 the City of Circle <br />School District is highly regarded in the State of Minnesota providing area students with award winning <br />academic and athletic programs and facilities. <br />Circle Pines is a vibrant community with a diverse housing stock. A small but successful business <br />community supports its primarily residential base. The City is home to a County branch library, area <br />post office, many parks and open spaces, walking paths, several lakes, and a variety of recreational <br />facilities.
