COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />Res. #23-0___ <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTINDONATION TO THE CITY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville is generally authorized to accept donations of real and personal property <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 465.03 et. seq. for the benefit of its citizens, and is specifically <br />authorized to accept gifts. <br />WHEREAS, the following entity has offered to contribute the cash amounts set forth below to the city: <br /> Name of Donor Amount <br /> Don Quaintance $100.00 <br /> Bill and Pam Kapphahn $100.00 <br />WHEREAS, the terms or conditions of the donations, if any, are as follows: <br />Donation Number Terms or Conditions <br />003 Off-set Costs Associated with the <br />Purchase & Installation of Park Bench at Eagle Park <br />WHEREAS, all such donations have been contributed to the city for the benefit of its citizens, as allowed by <br />law; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donation offered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.The donation described above is accepted and funds shall be utilized to off-set costs associated with the <br />purchase and installation of a park bench at Eagle Park as allowed by law. <br />2.The City Clerk is hereby directed to issue a receipt to the donor acknowledging the cityÓs receipt of the <br />donorÓs donation. <br />th <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of Centerville, Minnesota this 13 day of September, 2023. <br />Mayor, D.
