Food Options – Committee Member Peterson stated that he had been in contact with Ms. Lonni <br />Olson to determine her willingness of scheduling food trucks for the Music In The Park events <br />this year as in previous years. Committee Member Seeley stated that a recap had been given the <br />previous year along with suggestions for obtaining and retaining reliable vendors for the events. <br />The item was tabled to the March meeting. <br /> <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Request for Use of LaMotte Park – B-Day Part, February 4, 2023 from 1-3:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The request for use was contained in the packet for consideration. <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Chairperson Member Errickson- <br />Grahek to approve the use of Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park as Requested. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />2. Request for Use of LaMotte Park, Summer Activities – Centennial Community Education <br /> <br />The request for use was contained in the packet for consideration. <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee Member Peterson to approve <br />the use of Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park as Requested. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. Request for Use of LaMotte Park, Centerville Elementary School Medallion Hunt, <br />February 6-10, 2023 <br /> <br /> The request for use was contained in the packet for consideration. <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Chairperson Errickson-Grahek to <br />approve the use of Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park as Requested. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. Submittal of SHIP Grant – 2 Drinking Fountains (Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park & Acorn <br />Creek Park) – Not to Exceed $22,000/Park <br /> <br />City Clerk Bender stated that the style of hydration station was proposed by Public Works Director Palzer, <br />was freeze resistant and cost $10,791. She stated that there would be additional installation fees for <br />waterline, concrete work, etc. She stated that funding would come from the Maintenance or Capital <br />Outlay funds. <br /> <br />Motion made by Chairperson Errickson-Grahek, seconded by Committee Member Peterson to <br />recommend to the City Council to Approve the Submittal the SHIP Application & Upon Successful <br />Granting Purchase and Install the Fountains at the Proposed Parks. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. Submittal of SHIP Grant - Bike Repair Stand (Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park) <br /> <br />City Clerk Bender provided the committee with a proposed bike repair stand that came with a heavy- <br />2 <br /> <br />
