<br />A rovedpp <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville’s Parks & Recreation Committee held a <br />scheduled meeting on December 7, 2022 in Council Chambers located at City Hall and the meeting was <br />available via live streaming at: https://northmetrotv.com/channel-15-live-stream. <br /> <br />Present: Chairperson Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br /> Committee Member Kathy Freiermuth <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> <br />Also Present: Ms. Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br /> Ms. Michelle Lakso, City Council Liaison <br /> <br />Absent: Committee Member Emem Akpan <br /> Committee Member Jessica Kubat <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Chairperson Errickson-Grahek called the December 7, 2022 meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br />Committee to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers. <br /> <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee Member Seeley to approve <br />the agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES – Assistant City Administrator Lewis <br /> <br />Ms Lewis presented an update regarding the City’s Website and the status of the App. She provided a <br />slide presentation that showed many of the websites’ new features. She stated that each park was listed <br />separately, with a map and the facilities available. She reported that internally a few items needed minor <br />modification and the App remained being worked on. <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />1. None <br /> <br />V. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Tree Inventory – Mr. Paul Palzer, Public Works <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer contacted Rainbow Tree Care to confirm their ability to complete a tree inventory of each of <br />the City owned parks and what the cost would be. Rainbow Tree Care’s Proposal includes the following: <br />* To create an inventory of trees growing within the open areas of all parks including the City Hall/Fire <br /> <br />
