<br />City of Centerville <br />Parks and Recreation Meeting Minutes <br />December 7, 2022 <br /> <br />2. Committee Member Update <br />a. Schedule from Hockey/Attend Application Received <br />Mr. Peter Schmidt, representing Centennial Hockey was inquiring about the use of Laurie LaMotte <br />Memorial Park for January and February. He was informed that the usage was previously approved but <br />the committee was waiting for the final schedule and suitable ice. <br />b. Skate Night(s) <br />Committee Member Peterson indicated he would not be in attendance at the February event, but would <br />be there in January. Chairperson Errickson-Grahek and Committee Member Seeley stated that they <br />planned on attending both events. Committee Member Seeley volunteered to purchase ingredients for <br />s’mores and it was stated that firewood/pallets needed to be obtained for the bonfire. A suggestion was <br />made to possibly use removed, diseased Ash trees in 2024. <br />c. Kwik Trip Donation <br />Chairperson Errickson-Grahek stated that she had been contacted by Kwik Trip stating that they <br />requested her or a designee to attend their Grand Opening scheduled for January 4, 2023 as they had a <br />donation that the wanted accepted on behalf of the Committee. <br /> <br />3. Council Liaison Report <br /> <br />1. No report was given. <br /> <br /> <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Chairperson Errickson-Grahek to <br />adjourn the December 7, 2022 P & R Meeting at 7:38 p.m. All in favor.
