The City Council declared a <br />th <br />vacancy at their September 27 meeting and the city is accepting applications through October 20 at noon. <br />The appointment will fill the remainder of Mr. KingÓs term, which runs through January of 2025. <br />Typically, the City Council will interview interested candidates and then make an <br />appointment to fill the seat. There will not be a special election. <br /> <br />Open Board Positions <br />Please call city hall at 651-429-3232 with any questions you may have regarding the <br />following openings. Never leave your stove unattended while cooking. <br />2. Keep your cooking area free of combustible materials. <br />3. Create a kid-free zone. <br />4. Turn pot handles toward the back of the stove. <br />5. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby. <br />6. Keep cooking equipment clean. <br />7. Wear short, close-fitting, or tightly rolled sleeves. <br /> <br />To learn more about fire prevention, click here. <br /> <br />th <br />As part of Fire Prevention Week, Centennial Fire District is holding an open house on October 14 from <br />5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Fire Station 1 in Circle Pines and Fire Station 3 in Centerville (attached to City <br />Hall).
