The City Council declared a <br />th <br />vacancy at their September 27 meeting and the city is accepting applications through October 20 at noon. <br />The appointment will fill the remainder of Mr. KingÓs term, which runs through January of 2025. <br />Typically, the City Council will interview interested candidates and then make an <br />appointment to fill the seat. Never leave your stove unattended while cooking. <br />2. Keep your cooking area free of combustible materials. <br />3. Create a kid-free zone. <br />4. Turn pot handles toward the back of the stove. <br />5. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby. <br />6. Keep cooking equipment clean. <br />7.
