Click here for more info, or to apply: <br />https://www.centennialfire.org/services-2. <br />Station 3 (Centerville) got a new coat of paint for its doors. <br />The Fire-Barn Red is looking sharp. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />Block 7 Property(Downtown) <br />Kennedy Property Development <br />Based on direction from the City Council, staff is <br />negotiating a purchase agreement with the prospective <br />developer. We anticipate the agreement will go in front of <br />the City Council at their December 13 meeting. <br />1737 Main Street (Block 3) <br />City staff has been working with our realtor to find other potential buyers for the property. There are no <br />current proposals. <br />7087 Centerville Road – Connor James Salon (Block 8) <br />The property owner has been issued a fence permit to complete the requiredwork in the Interim Use Permit. <br />1687 Westview Street (LaLondeProperty) <br />The owner of the site has chosen a developer to work with on a proposed redevelopment project for the site. <br />Ebert Companies is a builder and developer, based in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities and has <br />experience building multi-family complexes in suburban and rural settings. They are gearing up for a <br />presentation to the City Council on November 8. <br />Staff has engaged with our TIF consultant to look at the preliminary feasibility of using TIF on this proposed <br />project and to get an idea of how much increment could be provided, if necessary. <br />stnd <br />OldMillEstates 1and 2Additions <br />Close-out of the development’s Rice Creek Watershed District Permit is the main remaining item which <br />needs to be addressed before we can look at closing out the development escrow. <br />The city continues to work with the developer and builders on site clean-up items. <br />Centerville Storage <br />Thefacilityis now open for business. The developer hascompleted drainage corrections along the north <br />side of the facility and will continue to work on watershed permit close-out. <br />BayViewVillas (Waterworks Site) <br />The developer’s landscaping crew has begun worknear the dock access area. Watershed permit closure is <br />also required, prior to release of the development securities. <br />RehbeinCommercial <br />Developer securities have been received by the city for 35% of the initial project costs and will be held <br />through the 2-year warranty period, which will end in 2024. The developer has now been grantedclose-out <br />of their Rice Creek Watershed District permit. <br />KwikTrip <br />Work is complete. We are working with the developer to close out the project. <br /> <br />
