CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />November 8, 2023 <br />Finance <br />_WS 2 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Capital Improvement Plans Update <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />The city has two capital funds within the general fund umbrella: the Capital Equipment Replacement Fund, and <br />the City Street Project Fund. With recent spikes in cost for equipment and materials, our previous cost <br />estimates and other assumptions which were central to the health of these funds have a need for review. City <br />staff have been piecing together more up-to-date costs and adjusting the plans to ascertain what appropriate <br />long-term budget adjustments may be required. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />See attached <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: <br />Work Session discussion only.
