CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />November 8, 2023 <br />Community Development <br />_WS 1 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />LaLonde Development - Project Overview <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />For several months, David and Cheri Chadima have been speaking with developers to find a partner they feel <br />will bring the best value to the community and honor the LaLonde legacy. They have chosen Ebert <br />Construction and are working with them to imagine a project which meets the city's zoning requirements and <br />aligns with the community's comprehensive plan and downtown master plan. Representatives from Ebert will <br />be on hand to present their proposed project and share their experience working with other small towns on <br />projects that have helped breath life into their downtown businesses. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />See attached <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: <br />Work Session discussion only.
