COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />Resolution # 23-2jL_L <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2024 PAY AND BENEFITS PLAN <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the 2024 General Fund Budget includes an assumption for a 5% increase in wage levels; and <br />WHEREAS, the 2023 IUOE, Local 49 union contract sets the wage increase at 5% for union members; and <br />WHEREAS, the non -union employees salary range should be set before the first payroll of the year; and <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has adopted a plan requiring employees who work more than 80 hours per <br />year to have Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) off in the amount of one hour for every 30 hours worked; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville, County of Anoka, <br />State of Minnesota, that the Pay Plan is hereby adopted with a 5% increase for the Pay Scale schedule for all <br />non -union, PERA-eligible employees who are not under separate contract as shown on the attached schedule; <br />and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city benefits contribution is set at the same amount of up to $1,200 per <br />month for eligible employees as it was in 2023; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city benefits will include providing one hour of PTO to be used as <br />ESST for all part-time employees for every 30 hours worked; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following positions be paid at the rates shown in the following table: <br />Job <br />Seasonal Rink Attendant <br />Seasonal Public Works Staff <br />Seasonal Public Works (1 yr exp.) <br />Seasonal Public Works (2 yr exp.) <br />Park & Recreation Secretary <br />Custodian <br />Head Election Judge <br />Election Judges <br />2022 <br />2023 <br />2024 <br />$12.00 <br />$13.00 <br />$16.30 <br />$15.00 <br />$15.50 <br />$16.30 <br />$16.00 <br />$16.50 <br />$17.30 <br />$17.00 <br />$17.50 <br />$18.30 <br />$15.00 <br />$15.50 <br />$16.30 <br />$15.00 <br />$15.50 <br />$16.30 <br />$15.50 <br />$15.50 <br />$16.80 <br />$15.00 <br />$15.00 <br />$16.30 <br />Passed and Adopted by the City of Centerville this 13th day of December, 2023. <br />Mayor, D.
