Mayor Love
asked President Remillard what their largest goal for going forward would be. President Remillard stated
that the EDA continues to determine whether an “incubator space” for businesses in the downtown area
would be feasible and viable for Centerville. Administrator Statz stated that Council may consider what
their role will be going forward (i.e., engaging in acquiring land or being a landlord-type partnership, levy,
issuing bonds, etc.). Mayor Love wanted discussions to continue and not to stifle the opportunity to share
ideas. He thanked the President for attending and updating the Council.
