Met Council Î State of the Region Address <br />The Met Council will be hosting a ÐState of the RegionÑ meeting, where representatives will give an <br />overview of the greater metro regionÓs current initiatives, trends and economic conditions. There will be <br />opportunities for public input. <br /> <br />RSVP now! <br /> <br />Program <br />9:00 a.m. Informal conversation time with Met Council members and Met Council executive leadership <br />10:00 a.m. Welcome and remarks by Chair Zelle and special guests <br />10:45 a.m. Panel discussion of regional leaders, facilitated by Tane Danger <br />Light refreshments will be served. <br /> <br />City Hall Building Updates <br />Last week, we continued our minor updates to City Hall by painting the bathrooms and ordering some <br />signs to replace paper ones taped to the doors. Pictures of the bathrooms were omitted from this report for <br />obvious reasons. <br /> <br />New Liquor License <br />At the last City Council meeting, a new liquor license was <br />approved, contingent upon the results of an expanded <br />background check. Hennepin CountyÓs records did not indicate <br />any issues with the applicant.
