ENGINEERING <br />TH <br />20 Avenue (CSAH 54) <br />Corridor Study Open House <br />On March 26, from 4:30 – 6:30 <br />PM at Centerville City Hall, <br />Anoka County and the Cities of <br />Lino Lakes and Centerville will be <br />hosting an open house to look at <br />th <br />draft layouts for the 20 Avenue <br />corridor study. This study outlines <br />how the roadway will look in the <br />5-to-10-year future. As businesses <br />and residents are added to the area, <br />this route has matured to the point <br />where it has outgrown its current <br />configuration. Come and be a part <br />of designing its upgrade. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />We’re Hiring <br />Seasonal Public Works/Parks Maintenance Worker <br />This is a summer position assisting in general maintenance of city facilities (parks, <br />streets, etc.). Requires valid driver’s license and good driving record, high school <br />diploma or GED, experience with maintenance quipment; ability to lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs. <br />Must have personal transportation to work. Hourly pay: $16.30/hr. Applications will be accepted until <br />filled and preference will be given to individuals that have been temporarily employed in this position <br />previously. <br /> <br />Click here for an employment application packet <br /> <br />Public Services Technician (Full Time) <br />The open application period for the Public Services Technician is now closed. We have received about a dozen <br />applications for the position. Interviews of top candidates are being scheduled with the goal of having a hiring <br />recommendation to the City Council by the second meeting in April. <br /> <br />MN Department of Health Annual Inspection <br />th <br />Brian with the Department of Health performed his annual audit March 14 which consists of reviewing the <br />Water system operation, water usage, operators’ licensures, and yearly reports. The city has completed the <br />Lead Service Line Assessment Program and submitted it to the Health Department. Samples were taken for <br />the well entry points and tower for analysis. The city is compliant with all requirements of the water <br />system.
