CITY OF CENTERVILLE REQUEST FOR ACTION Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: April 17, 2024 Administration/EDA VIII.3 TITLE OF ISSUE: EDA Program Review - Center Stage BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: The EDA has discussed potential tweaks to their Center Stage program due to limited participation. So far, there has only been one participant this year. Staff has reached out a couple of local graphic artists as well as larger digital marking firms to see what they could offer. One suggested option is: creation of a Google listing, business card design, a flyer or social media graphic and instruction on social media best practices, email marketing, etc. Another suggested option is: a flyer, business cards, social media instruction, etc. A third option is: consultation to determine need for: website, search optimization, social media instruction, etc. The current Center Stage program includes: design of an ad (up to 4 for new participants) for inclusion in the newspaper, along with an interview with North Metro TV and social media blasts. Staff is requesting input on additions and/or changes to the Center Stage program. COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: $10,100 budgeted for 2024 REQUESTED ACTION: Discussion.
