Dear Theresa and Heidi,
I am very happy to be part of your team and improve together our city.
I visited Royal Meadows Park and Acorn Creek Park.
These parks are in very dangerous condition for children and demand our immediate
attention. They are in need of repair.
You can see a lot of rusty parts coming apart on the playground. During the play on the
Royal Meadows Park my son almost torn his pants on the rusty broken steps while climbing
up the stairs. In summer it will be even more dangerous because kids will have short shorts
etc. I attached the pictures.
Maybe there is a warranty from the manufacturer on these playgrounds? When was the last
time that any repair has been done?
Besides that, there is a hornet nest on the tree directly near the public bathroom (to the
right of the bathroom) in the Royal Meadows Park.

I also visited Eagle Park. It is in good condition overall but it badly needs fresh wood chips
as other two Parks: Royal Meadows Park and Acorn Creek Park.
Looking forward to discuss these issues in the future.
Yours sincerely,
Katya Port
