For example, rush hour traffic in the morning and afternoon along with <br />traffic at school beginning and end of days. Those are heavy traffic times. Although, until evening the <br />traffic is frequent and steady. They do so on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and make sure <br />there is nothing unusual going on that day that would make it atypical. They are noting the <br />turning movements at the intersection and are logging information in smaller time intervals to <br />ŲijŏŲŗijŏƂ϶ЧŲđêń϶İŗƇŵШ϶ƂŵêĨĨijąϼ϶϶\]đŏđŵêňňƢϽ϶ƂİđƢ϶êŵđ϶°϶ąŗƇŏƂijŏĩ϶ƂŵƇąńŹ϶ŗŵ϶ŗƂİđŵ϶ƚđİijąňđ϶ <br />types. When we do a count for the purposes of designing the thickness of the road (how strong <br />it should be), we will take truck counts. When we are doing a study focused on the movement <br />of traffic, we rely on generalized assumptions on the number of trucks on a particular class of <br />ŵŗêċ϶Й~êijŏ϶¨ƂŵđđƂ϶ijŹ϶ê϶~ijŏŗŵ϶ŵƂđŵijêňϽ϶f϶ăđňijđƚđКϼ϶϶Ƃİđŵ϶ƂŵêĨĨiją϶ąŗƇŏƂŹ϶ƂİêƂ϶ƢŗƇЪňň϶İđêŵ϶ƇŹ϶ŵđĨđŵ϶Ƃŗ϶ <br />are generally done by using the strip across the road.
