tǒĬƌźĭ /ƚƒƒĻƓƷƭ ƚƓ ЊЏБА ĻƭƷǝźĻǞ {ƷƩĻĻƷ Α \[ğ\[ƚƓķĻ tƩƚƦƚƭğƌ
February 23, 2024, from ͭͲͱͰ϶xêńđňêŏċ϶9ijŵąňđ϶А Nancy Golden
Ч?đêŵ Mayor and Centerville Council Members and Planning & Zoning Committee Members,
We have been advised there is a suggested public meeting concerning the proposed LaLonde
Apartment complex for Monday, March 11, 2024. That is the week of Centennial ISD 12Ъs spring
break. Many residents will be out of town.
In the interest of education and transparency, is it possible to move the meeting to the week of
thth
March 18 or 25? There is great interest in opposing this 90-110 unit apartment complex. Many
residents want to protect the small town feel of Centerville and prefer to see the land developed for
owner occupied, full tax paying residents of our beautiful city.
We look forward to your response.Ш϶
Sincerely,
Nancy Golden
From: Mark Statz <MStatz@centervillemn.com>
Sent: Friday, February 23, 2024 12:27 PM
Subject: RE: LaLonde Apartment Town Hall
Чêŏąy,
Thank you for reaching out. Since this con Ǐ ict was brought to our attention this morning, sta has
been working to ǎ nd an alternative date that might work with the city councilЪs collective
schedules. It is important to all of them that they are able to attend and listen to your concerns on
this project and other issues facing our city.
Once a new date is found, we will be sure to publicize it on all of the cityЪs platforms.
Please also know that this open house is just one way you can have your voice heard. Our website
has some information on the project and an opportunity to comment. We are always open to
emails from the public, phone calls or a personal visit to city hall. Finally, there will be the required
Public Hearing for the development, once a formal application for the project is received.
