2024 Value Changes by Property Type <br /> <br />Single family residential property values increased slightly with most in the 1%-4% range. The <br />non waterfront properties increased slightly more (3.07%) than the waterfront properties <br />(1.22%) this year. Townhomes also saw a modest 2.32% increase in value. <br /> <br />The commercial property values were fairly stable from last year with about a 1% increase. <br />Industrial property values increased 7.42% overall. Within the industrial classification, storage <br />warehouse properties sold much higher than in 2023, driving the large increase overall. <br /> <br />Agricultural vacant land values were increased 15%-20% countywide based on sales. In <br />Centerville the few agricultural properties increased 14.56% in overall market value. <br /> <br />Apartment property values generally decreased countywide and likewise in Centerville. <br />However, within this classification, assisted living facilities increased in valuation. <br /> <br />The chart below depicts the total change in estimated market value as a percentage for <br />each property type. Specific properties may have experienced increases or decreases in <br />estimated market value that are not necessarily representative of the aggregate value <br />change for that property type as a whole.
