ROL CALL <br /> <br />Present: Chairperson Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br /> Committee Member Emem Akpan <br />Committee Member Kathy Freiermuth <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> <br />Also Present: City Clerk, Ms. Teresa Bender <br /> City Council Liaison, Mr. Terry Sweeney <br /> <br />Absent: Committee Member Ashley Fuchs <br /> <br /> <br />II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion made by Committee Member Errickson-Grahek, seconded by Committee Member <br />Akpan to add the following item under VI. New Business: 4. Music in the Park and to <br />approve this agenda as amended. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Representatives of the Centerville Lions were invited to appear before the committee by Chair <br />Errickson-Grahek upon a discussion with Lion Member Katie Hogan who stated that <br />representatives of the club desired to address projects that they would be willing to assist with at <br />Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. <br /> <br />Centerville Lion Representatives Katie Hogan, Ron Hogan and Mark Remillard appeared before <br />the Committee and discussed projects that they could assist with at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. <br />Discussions took place regarding hockey rink boards, the construction of a community <br />center/warming house/concession area, upgrading the ballfields, adding pickleball courts to the <br />park, additional playground equipment, etc. Ms. Hogan stated that the Lions have purchased tents <br />that could be utilized to shade a portion of the hockey rink which may assist in retaining ice in that <br />area and that they were willing to let the City utilize them. <br /> <br />Chair Errickson-Grahek requested that the Lions provide three priorities that they would be willing <br />to assist in financially and what they would like to see the park have as offerings. <br /> <br />Lion Katie Hogan stated the following: <br /> <br /> A Community Center with an attached warming house, restrooms and storage. <br /> Upgrading the Playground equipment with the addition of equipment and routine <br />maintenance. <br /> Upgrading the ballfields and routine maintenance. <br /> <br />Chair Errickson-Grahek stated that the committee has received several requests for additional play <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
