City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 10, 2024 <br />Administrator Statz stated that this is an annual meeting and a requirement of the permit holder (City of <br />Centerville). Administrator Statz reviewed the 2024 MS4 Permit Annual Public Meeting presentation <br />contained in their packet. <br /> <br />Mayor Love opened the public input meeting at 6:55 p.m. Mayor Love offered an opportunity for the <br />public to speak, no one from the audience spoke and he stated that the Council would leave the meeting <br />open for a period of time and move on through the agenda. <br /> <br />VI. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES <br /> <br />1. March 27, 2024, City Council Work Session & Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for Council to make modifications if needed. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski seconded by Council Member Taylor to Approve the March 27, <br />2024, City Council Work Session & Meeting Minutes as Presented. Roll Call: Mayor Love, Council <br />Members Mosher, Koski and Taylor. Council Member Sweeney abstained. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. City of Centerville Claims through April 10, 2024 (Checks #36629-3665961 & E2219-2223) <br />& Voided Check #36659-36660 <br />2. P & R Recommendation to Approve Rainbow Tree Care Preferred Ash Borer Tree Service <br />– Contract Extension <br /> <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for members to pull items for additional discussion. <br /> <br />Council Member Mosher wished to pull Item #7 for additional discussion. Mayor Love asked <br />Administrator Statz to explain what Check #36661 was for. Administrator Statz stated that if was for <br />Worker’s Compensation insurance through the League of MN Cities Insurance Trust. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski Wished to pull Item #6 for comment. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Sweeney Approve Consent <br />Agenda Items 1-5 as presented. Roll Call: Mayor Love, Council Members Sweeney, Mosher, Koski <br />and Taylor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski commented on Item #6 and stated that he appreciated the Scout Troops, their <br />Leadership, principles and thanked them for their volunteerism and recognized long-time Leader Mr. <br />Brian Peterson who was also a Parks & Recreation Committee member. <br />Page 3 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
