The EDA purchased these seasonal flowerpots to ÐspruceÑ up
downtown and add beauty and warmth to the area.

The EDA has also revised their Downtown Grant and Revolving Loan Façade
Enhancement program guidelines to provide a higher match (up to $10,000) to
businesses and/or nonprofits who apply for eligible activities. We are finding that quality
candidates are looking for work in communities like ours. We are also welcoming back a part-time officer
who has been out with a medical issue and has finally been cleared to work again. All in all, the department
is miles ahead of where we were in terms of staffing during the pandemic. Thank you to all of our citizens
that support our department.
