City of Centerville <br />City Council Work Session & Meeting Minutes <br />May 22, 2024 <br />Street Project, which would be Streets/General Fund; one being mapping which would be General Fund <br />and the either two were pass throughs (LaLonde Project & Peltier Estates Î to developers) and being <br />Escrow Fund that was affected. City Administrator Statz addressed Check #36750 stating that Council <br />approved sharing of the traffic study (TC^2 with the developer so $3,536.25 was coming from the <br />General Fund and $3,536.25 was a pass through to the LaLonde Project developer). Administrator Statz <br />addressed Check #15212, Dodge of Burnsville for the purchase of their new vehicle and Check #9707 <br />which was the quarterly payment to Spring Lake Park, Blaine, Mounds View Fire Department. Council <br />Member Mosher asked about Check #36728 to Hugo Plumbing for the boiler and Administrator Statz <br />stated that the fluids did not have to be changed. Council Member Mosher asked about the maintenance <br />agreement for the new boiler and Administrator Statz stated that he would verify that it was contained. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Taylor Approve the Consent <br />Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1.None. <br /> <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />th <br />1.Res. #24-0XX Î Adopting the Findings of the CSAH 54 (20 Avenue) Corridor Study and <br />Establishing the Need for the Fairview Street Easement on PID 24-31-22-32-0004 (Amazon) <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated they TC^2 appeared before them and presented the draft study and findings. <br />He stated that what was very important to us was the Amazon easement and realignment of Fairview <br />Street. He stated that upon the CouncilÓs adoption of the Corridor Study, staff would be forwarding a <br />letter to Amazon claiming the easement. He also stated that the city has 10 years to identify the need <br />and an addition 5 years to complete the realignment with funding set aside ($650,000 from the <br />th <br />developer). He stated that a turn lane would be installed along 20 there also and both will be discussed <br />with the County regarding timing. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Sweeney, seconded by Council Member Taylor to Adopt Res. #24-009 <br />th <br />Î Adopting the Findings of the CSAH 54 (20 Avenue) Corridor Study and Establishing the Need <br />for the Fairview Street Easement on PID 24-31-22-32-0004 (Amazon) as presented. Final Plat <br /> <br />Administrator Statz reviewed the Request for Council Action contained in the CouncilÓs packet. He <br />briefly stated that it was a simple, straightforward plat and stated that a total of four parcels were <br />involved with two being in Centerville and two being in Lino Lakes. He stated that the lot lines have <br />been straightened and that with this platting it cleans up the legal descriptions and allows for more <br />noticeable lot lines. He stated that the structures/homes were located within Lino Lakes. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued that one citizen commented at the public hearing regarding the matter who asked <br />about the process of platting land and had some questions regarding her parcels not being platted. <br />Page 4 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
