<br />City staff have been working with representatives from the state procurement office who have assisted us in <br />drafting and distributing a Request for Proposals for the design and construction of solar panels on city hall <br />and the fire station. The proposals once received will be scored and the winning proposal will be presented <br />to council for consideration. Staff would then submit our proposal for the final grant application. If <br />accepted, construction could begin in the spring. <br /> <br />Water Tower <br />Consulting engineers, KLM, have finished their work in performing some tests on the tower’s paint to help <br />understand the scope and timing of a repaint. Staff will be discussing the results of that report with the City <br />Council at an upcoming workshop. <br /> <br />Public Works Truck Replacements <br />The 1-ton truck has been delivered and is now in service. <br /> <br />CENTENNIAL LAKES POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Nite to Unite <br />Residents across the city held their own neighborhood parties for Nite to Unite. First responders joined <br />those that requested a visit. <br /> <br />We’re Hiring <br />The department has an opening for a full-time patrol officer. This subdivision was always a <br />stnd <br />part of the discussion when Old Mill Estates (1 and 2 Additions) was platted. However, the developer <br />needed more time to work out wetland and power line easement issues. With some of those issues more in <br />hand, the proposed subdivision would break up Lot 8, Block 2, into 4 lots (3 new lots). <br /> <br />Block 7 Property (Downtown) <br />A developer met with city staff on 7/23 to discuss a townhome style development. They are awaiting the <br />decision on a moratorium before moving forward with further exploration of the project. <br /> <br />1737 Main Street (Block 3) <br />No recent activity. <br /> <br /> <br />
