Report <br />2024 ELECTIONS UPDATE <br />State Primary Elections (August 13, 2024, Recap) <br />The City of Centerville processed three absentee/envelope process ballots, eight direct ballots in the 46 days <br />prior to election day. On election day, Election Judges assisted 187 voters and registered 5 new voters. The <br />turnout was very low for this cycle at6% of registered voters at 7 a.m. on election day. <br />Municipal Elections <br />The filing period for municipal elections has now ended. The candidates for <br />Council raceson November 5, 2024, are: <br />Mayor (2-year Term) <br />D. Love <br />Nancy Golden <br />Council (2-Year Term; 1 seat)Special Election <br />Anita Rios <br />Council (4-Year Term; 2 seats) <br />Russ Koski <br />David Kubat <br />Garland Port <br />annual Movie in the Park will take place <br />on September 14.
