CITY OF CENTERVILLEREQUEST <br />FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />September 4, 2024 <br />Administration <br />IX.1 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Staff Update (Main Street Market & Trunk or Treat <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />The Main Street Market season ended on August 22, 2024. Participation in the market with vendors and visitors was larger then <br />anticipated. At certain times there were: at least 3-4 food vendors along with 31 artisans/crafters. Attendance ranged from 800+ - <br />300 each week. Chairperson Errickson-Grahek, staff and Ms. Angela Conley met for a re-cap meeting and discussed dates for 2025, <br />rescheduling the themed evenings to not overlap with neighboring community events and possible additions of events (dunk tank, etc.) <br /> <br />All in all, it was a great season and thank you to our volunteers: Tedd Carlson, Suzanne Seeley, Heidi Errickson-Grahek and Angela <br />Conely as this event would not have been able to happen without them. We also thank the P.W. Department for set up of tables and <br />equipment and then removal of same. <br /> <br />Trunk or Treat/Touch a Truck - please find the attached flier.
