Stay <br />Tuned. <br />rd <br />3Annual Trunk or Treat (October 26, <br />2024) <br />The event will be taking place in the <br />Centerville Elementary School Parking Lot <br />(South End) on October 26, 2024 from <br />9:30—11:30 a.m. Local businesses will be <br />participating along with (Centennial Fire, <br />Centennial Lakes police, M-Health Fairview, <br />and the City’s Public Works Department) <br />The event follows the 7th Annual Centennial <br />Community Education Halloween Hustle <br />5K. The 5K is a fun run, costumes are <br />acceptable, well-behaved animals are also <br />allowed and there is a half mile kids <br />turnaround so all ages can join. <br />If you are a business interested in having a <br />vehicle in the Trunk or Treatevent, please <br />register at: <br />https://forms.gle/dUdJHP4vAccVdmgZA. <br />Registrations must be received before <br />October 10 for the run. Please visit their web <br />site at: <br />https://isd12.ce.eleyo.com/course/5216/fall- <br />2024/halloween-hustle-5k. <br />Fiore Tree <br />The Committee forwarded a recommendation to <br />Council for thepurchase and installationa Fiore <br />Tree at Cornerstone Park. The park is a focal point <br />as you enter the community from the west. The <br />Committee felt strongly that the tree to the right <br />would provide beautification to the park along with <br />the Downtown EDA theme with the placement of <br />the flower containers. The costs would not to <br />exceed $25,000 and will be paid for out of the Park <br />Dedication Fee Funds. <br /> <br />
