COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> Resolution #24-a/9 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $100,000 TO THE EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUND <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Committee has requested that the City Council provide additional <br /> funding to replace aging playground infrastructure; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need for playground structure replacements across the city; and <br /> WHEREAS, the existing resources within the Equipment Replacement Fund are limited and inadequate to <br /> complete the requested replacements in a timely manner; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has funds available in excess of the minimum requirements of the General Fund <br /> Balance Policy; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville, County of Anoka, <br /> State of Minnesota, that the City Administrator is authorized to transfer$100,000 from Fund 101 —General <br /> Fund to Fund 409—Equipment Replacement Fund in 2024. <br /> Passed and Adopted by the City of Centerville this 1 lth day of September, 2024. <br /> <br /> Mayor,D.
