City Code does not allow a second
driveway access, except for on a corner lot, and then, only in certain circumstances.
Thesecond driveway accesswouldsimply connect to an existing driveway remnant from
before the Bayview Villas development was installed, which leads to a tuck-under garage
in the rear of the home. Therearrangement of the roadway, with theBayview Villas
development orphaned this driveway. Thehomeowner is seeking to make this
connection to avoid driving over the grass to accessthe remnant driveway and tuck-under
garage.
